Hay Making - to make Hay
Cut (Mow) the tall grass using the
Mower , turn the cut grass with the
Tedder at
least 3 times a day for the first 3 days, the grass changes from bright green to
silvery green and dry - hopefully, this is hay, then turn hay gently for another
2 days - weather permitting! then row the hay up into manageable lines of
hay called a windrow the right size so the
Baler doesn't get indigestion or is left feeling hungry! The grass ready to cut using the tractor mounted mower, this will then be turned using the tedder. The cut grass after being turned once
